Institutional appetite for cryptocurrency exposure reached new heights last week, with $3.3 billion flowing into digital asset funds according to CoinShares’ latest report. This surge pushes year-to-date inflows to an unprecedented $10.8 billion, while total assets under management briefly touched $187.5 billion—a historic peak for the sector.
American investors dominated the capital deployment, accounting for over 97% of global inflows with $3.2 billion. Regional participation showed Australia ($10.9M), Hong Kong ($33.3M), and Germany ($41.5M) as secondary players, while one outlier market saw $16.6 million in outflows.
